Relying on the bus will add 20-40 minutes to nearly every trip, and that’s if you’re staying in Downtown to maximize your transit connections (which isn’t necessarily a bad idea anyway, as it’s centrally located and has a fun vibe). With a car you can reach most family-friendly Columbus attractions within 10-20 minutes.
